GOOD WINE STILL DOES NOT CURE LEPROSY, BUT...

Dear Friends,

When the CIOMAL Foundation created its CIOMAL 2020 Cuvée to take a step back from the pandemic last April, we did not think that Covid-19 would still be a major concern in 2021. Unfortunately, last year’s countermeasure was not enough to defeat this pesky virus, and we must therefore continue our search for the coveted elixir. Particularly touched by your support, we did not hesitate to launch our second (and not second) edition of the Cuvée CIOMAL.

Once again, we offer you :

  1. to help people suffering from leprosy,
  2. to show your friendship to a person of your choice,
  3. to support a local and renowned winemaker,
  4. and to drink to the fullest the words of Louis Pasteur “Wine is the healthiest and most hygienic beverage there is”..

Mr. Jean-Michel Novelle, creative winemaker and oenologist of the Domaine du Grand Clos in Satigny (GE) has agreed to concoct an exclusive box of three wines “Cuvée CIOMAL 2021” which will allow you to support the works of CIOMAL while enjoying an excellent nectar that will delight the taste buds of the finest connoisseurs. Available in limited quantities, this exceptional box features a unique label (above) and includes:

  • a 75cl bottle of Empreinte Puissante, (red)
  • a 75cl bottle of Empreinte Rose (rosé)
  • une bouteille de 75cl de Savagnin blanc (2018) (blanc)

So that those who do not drink wine do not feel excluded, this box will be delivered to whomever you wish, and it will please both the giver and the receiver.

To order, nothing could be easier:

Pay the amount of CHF 99.00 per box:

As soon as we receive your payment, we will contact you within 48 hours to organize your delivery, which will be made by Alexandre Zanetta, anywhere in Switzerland.

All the profits from this CIOMAL 2021 vintage will be used to start a new partnership with the Alliance Against Leprosy association, which is active in the fight against Hansen’s disease in Brazil, a country that is paying particular attention to reducing the incidence of this disease. This cooperation will contribute to intervene more specifically in the state of Mato Grosso, where the needs are colossal: every year, more than 4’000 new cases of leprosy are detected, 181 of them in minors under 15 years old.

The CIOMAL Foundation is delighted with this collaboration aimed at conducting actions targeted at training and skills transfer.

I ACT TODAY

Every child deserves to receive a quality education, regardless of their family situation. Unfortunately, families affected by leprosy often face financial difficulties and are often unable to finance their children’s education. This is why the CIOMAL Foundation strives to fund the educational needs of children whose families are affected by the disease. With your help, we can give the new generation hope for a better future through education.
